These are but a few of the crazy characters whose paths will serendipitously cross with young Tan’s. Filled with comic adventure and martial arts action, TAN (pronounced “tahn”) follows the globe trotting travels of Tan, a young egg recently graduated from the Lo Fat Martial Arts Academy and Cooking School. Unfamiliar with the ways of the outside world, Tan will learn life lessons that are at once silly, irreverent, and ironic...but always optimistic. Like all kids his age, Tan’s curiosity, naivete, and gung-ho positive attitude will fill each 11- minute episode of TAN with laugh-filled fun and unpredictable adventure.

Joining Tan along the way will be friends Foo Young, Tamago, and Curry -each his age and like all eggs, just as curious about the wide, wonderful world as he is. Each episode of TAN will also include brief wrap-around sequences featuring Tan in the present - much older and wiser, yet still just as curious about the world around him. Old Tan will enter the lives of today’s young eggs and by sharing past stories of his life as Young Tan, help them solve problems. His stories may occasionally seem random or not quite to the point, yet kids will come to understand his well-meaning, upbeat, and off-the-wall philosophical messages.

All in all, TAN teaches us that life is fun, that we can easily overcome any obstacle...and that giant monkeys do indeed, wear tiny vinyl hats.
